Wales « Open Doors – Vertical Conversations» July 24-30, 2017

From July 24th and 30th 2017 took place workshop « Open Doors » in Wales hosted by Vertical Dance kate Lawrence .

The title ‘Open Doors’ encompassed a series of activities taking place over 6 days in Bangor, North Wales. These included a four-day creative, collaborative exploration of the public spaces of Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre called ‘Vertical Conversations’, culminating in a public showcase event to share the results of the explorations. A public talk entitled ‘Shifting Perspectives’. Public lunchtime workshops in vertical dance. VDF closed meetings. The aim of this event was to launch the Creative Europe project and focus specifically on public engagement by creating work in public spaces and facilitating dialogue between creative professionals and the public. Alongside this central aim, were associated aims of sharing knowledge, developing networks and building capacity.
